Doctor
Doctor is classified as an Artisan career, because it depends on Plants from Herbalists. It provides medicine to cure villagers of illnesses that hinder their ability to work. Please note that villagers can no longer get ill.
Your villager starts with an empty screen. Doctors need to learn Recipes called Recipes (not Potion Recipes) in order to work. A villager can learn any recipe from any village. There are 4 minor illnesses and 1 major illness for each village.
There is one item unaffiliated with any village: the sludge potion. Not actually a medicin, its recipe can be purchased from the recycler.
Recipes for your village can be found in your village's shop . You have to dip into User Stalls or the Item Sales forum to pick up outside Recipes. All Recipes cost 75-125 FC in their respective village shops.
Once you have your desired Recipes, head into your Inventory to teach them to your villager.
Crafting a Recipe is as simple as clicking on it and waiting for 30 minutes for a minor illness medicine or 90 minutes for a major illness medicine. The sludge potion takes 113 minutes.
Minor illness recipes require 15 Common Plants from its village, 5 Uncommon Plants from its village, 1 Container from its village, and 100 FC.
Major illness recipes require 25 each of both Common Plants from its village, 1 each of both Rare Plants from its village, 1 Container from its village, and 250 FC.
Please see the item museum for sludge potion reagents.
Containers are found in each village's clinic shop for 50 FC .
Doctors can use a recipe as many times as they'd like once they have learned it. If you would like your villager to forget a recipe, the Unlearn option is available in the bottom left corner of every recipe window.
Each time a Doctor completes a particular medicine, they gain 5% mastery of that medicine. Doctors start off being able to make 5% Potency medicines, so after 19 times, they always produce 100% Potency. Potency does nothing.
The sludge potion can be mastered by brewing it 20 times, but it does not have potency.
Applying one of four costumes increases potency by 5%.
Doctors can Mix Medicines to combine their potency levels. Potency is simply added when the medicines are mixed, but it cannot exceed 100.
Choosing a 45% and 55% medicine yields a 100% Potency medicine as does choosing to mix a 55% and 70% medicine.
The two lower potency medicines are consumed and you end up with one higher potency medicine from the process.
The finished medicines from your Doctor cure one illness each. Villagers can only catch illnesses of their village of residence. Major illnesses stop you from performing all career actions on that villager.

There's no need to worry about memorizing which medicine cures which illness. You can check your villager's page or their career page for a reminder of what they need.
If you don't happen to have the medicine you need on hand, you have one free doctor's appointment from the clinic each day. It removes an illness from your active villager.
Medicine can be used from the Inventory.
